Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Crafto, we take great care in delivering your furniture safely and efficiently. Because furniture items are often large and fragile, we have established the following guidelines to ensure a smooth delivery experience from our workshop to your home.
1. Delivery Areas & Timeline
We deliver nationwide across Bangladesh. Our estimated delivery timelines are as follows:
- Inside Dhaka City: 3–7 working days for stocked items.
- Outside Dhaka City: 7–14 working days, depending on the distance and courier availability.
- Customized Furniture: 15–21 working days (our team will provide a specific timeline during the order confirmation).
Note: Delivery times may be affected by public holidays, weather conditions, or political events.
2. Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on the size of the item and the delivery location:
- Standard Delivery (Dhaka): Flat rate or free delivery may apply for orders above a certain threshold (e.g., BDT 50,000+).
- Outside Dhaka: Shipping charges vary by district and item weight. These will be clearly communicated and added to your invoice before you make a payment.
3. Delivery Process & Installation
- Confirmation: Once your order is ready, our logistics team will call you to schedule a convenient delivery time.
- Assembly: For items requiring assembly (beds, wardrobes, etc.), our professional technicians will provide Free Installation at the time of delivery for customers within Dhaka City.
- Outside Dhaka Assembly: For deliveries outside Dhaka, we provide detailed assembly instructions or can guide you via video call. If a technician is required to travel, additional service charges may apply.
4. Customer Responsibility (Access & Space)
Before placing your order, please ensure:
- The furniture can fit through your doorways, hallways, and elevators.
- There is a clear path for our delivery team.
- Floor Charges: Our standard delivery covers up to the 2nd floor (if there is no service lift). An additional carrying charge may apply for higher floors without lift access.
5. Inspection Upon Receipt
We strongly recommend that you inspect your furniture immediately upon delivery.
- If you notice any visible damage or defects, please note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately at info@craftobd.com.
- Once the delivery receipt is signed “received in good condition,” Crafto is not responsible for physical damages reported later (except for manufacturing defects covered under warranty).
6. Delayed or Failed Delivery
If you are unavailable at the scheduled time, we will attempt to reschedule. Please note that additional shipping fees may apply for a second delivery attempt if the first one failed due to the customer being unavailable.
